DAI x Sharaf Studio

During early 2019, we spent 3 days at Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah working with a group of children that were developing an identity for an exhibition they had been collectively curating with cultural educator and friend Maha AlEssa. Maha was working with the kids over weeks to put together an exhibition on nature represented by material culture—objects from all over the world, and from many centuries. We joined the project to help the kids think about how they wanted to represent their exhibition. What name will they give it? What kind of visual identity did they want to give the exhibition?

Sometimes, the kids worked individually, and other times, in groups. The exhibition was titled Mirrored Nature: The Full Circle.
